What Are Veneers?
A veneer is a thin, custom-made porcelain shell bonded to the front of a tooth. Because it covers the visible surface, one treatment can address several concerns simultaneously — colour, shape, small gaps and worn or chipped edges.
Most cases take two visits after the consultation: one to prepare the teeth and record the shape, and one to bond the finished porcelain. Temporary coverings keep the teeth comfortable in between.
What Veneers Can Fix
- Deep staining that whitening can't lift
- Chipped or worn edges
- Small gaps between teeth
- Teeth that look short, uneven or misshapen
- Minor alignment issues where braces would be overkill
Living with Veneers
Treat veneers like your own teeth: brush, floss, and keep cleanings. Do not bite nails, ice, or pen caps. Porcelain is strong in chewing and brittle against a hard edge.
If you clench at night, a guard protects both the veneers and the teeth next to them. If an edge feels rough or a veneer ever feels loose, call us. Do not wait for it to come off completely.

What the Process Looks Like
We start by talking through what you want to change, then prepare the teeth and take impressions. Your veneers are custom-made to a shade and shape chosen with you, then bonded into place at a follow-up visit.
We're deliberately conservative about which teeth get veneered. If whitening or bonding achieves what you're after, we'll say so.
