What We Examine
A comprehensive exam goes well beyond looking for cavities. We assess the whole system, because problems in one area frequently show up first somewhere else.
New patients usually start here. We record what we find and compare it with any X-rays or treatment notes you bring from another office, so we are not guessing about work that was already done.
Bring a list of medications and any recent dental treatment, even from another office. That history changes what we recommend, especially for gum care and for teeth that have already been root-canaled or crowned.

After the Exam
You leave with a short list, not a lecture. Urgent items are at the top. Things that can be watched are labeled that way, with what would make us want to treat them later.
Nothing on that list starts without you. If you want a second look at one tooth, or you only want to fix what hurts, say so. We would rather treat the priority you choose than a plan you will not follow.
Then We Explain It
We review your imaging on screen with you and explain what we found in plain language. If treatment is needed, you'll get options with honest pricing and a clear sense of what happens if you wait.
You decide from there. We don't pressure patients into treatment.
